Mrs. Sophia McGinnis
Died at the home of her son in St. Louis Wednesday after several months of illness. The body will be brought to Warrensburg this morning and the funeral will occur from her late residence, corner of Market and Maguire. She leaves two sons, both St. Louis physicians[Charles Quincy McGinnis & Clyde? McGinnis], and a daughter [Jessie Batham] in California. She was a zealous member of the Market Street Methodist Church. Her husband was the late Senator McGinnis of St. Louis, who in his day was a power in republican politics.
