Wife of Willmer Tower Taken By Death Today

Mrs. Willmer C. Tower, 66, of North Jackson street in Huntingburg died in the Stork Hospital at 6:45 this morning. She had been in failing health for some time, and was removed to the hospital yesterday evening.
Mrs. Tower was born on April 8, 1885, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Abell of the Birdseye community.
She was married to Willmer C. Tower in April, 1906. The couple moved to Huntingburg from a farm near Birdseye ten months ago.
Surviving besides the husband are her father, Willard Abell, of near Birdseye; and a sister, Mrs. Katie Kellams of Birdseye.
The body is at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, where it will remain until Thursday afternoon when funeral services will be conducted in the Christian Church in Birdseye at 2 o'clock by Rev. William Kellams. Burial will be in the cemetery at Mentor.
