She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. Center in 1950; and a son Alvin, in 1921. Surviving children are Mrs. Arnold (Mildred) Burgess and Mrs. Frank (Mabel) McWilliams of Esther, and Leo (Bud) Center of Herculaneum. Other survivors include; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Rolla (Lucy) Larkin of River Rouge, Mich.; Mrs. Emmett (Lula) Henroid of Esther; Mrs. Kenneth (Edna) Rariden of Monroe, Mich.; and Mrs. Anna Boyd of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, George and Ed Burns of Farmington Route 2 and Tom Burns of Esther; and several nieces and nephews.
The body lay in state at the Caldwell Funeral Home in Flat River until Saturday, March 12, when services were conducted at the Esther Methodist Church at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Paul Skaggs officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, with Caldwell service in charge.
