Mrs. Chapman was born in Clarke County and was a resident of Chaparral 65 years. H. A. Chapman, Sr., former justice of the Peace for Beat Three, Wayne County, preceded her in death several years.
She is survived by four sons, Grady, Henry A., Thade and W. R. all of Chaparral, seven daughters, Mrs. Ellis Thrash, Mrs. Bertha Vinson, Mrs. Virgie Jones, Mrs. Nicey Chapman and Mrs. Velma Grever, all of Chaparral, Mrs. Tempie Smith, Meridian, Mrs. Throe Mae Rowe, Statesville, Ga., 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Chaparral cemetery.
Freeman Funeral Home is in charge.
