Two weeks ago, the Childress Index mentioned that R.N. Land had been injured in an accident when's team ran away. In some manner, he was struck on the neck, injuring the spinal cord, which resulted in Paralysis. While able to talk; he could not use any of his body from the neck down. While given all the attention possible; he died Saturday at 1:15 o'clock. The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
