STURGIS, Ky. Cavit Fletcher, 85, of Sturgis, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa.


Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife, Mary Fletcher; three sons, Creed Fletcher of Sturgis, James Carlton Fletcher of Belton, and Tony Fletcher of Dixon; three daughters, Jean Hahn of Evansville, Lois Farmer of Marion, and Peggy McReynolds of Melrose Park, a brother, Walter Fletcher of Colorado Springs, a sister, Ruby Crowley of Henderson; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion. The Rev. Hubert Williamson will officiate, and burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
