Arrangements are being handled by Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Village Cemetery, north of Albion. Visitation will be Wednesday (tonight) 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Barnhart was born in Carmi, August 3, 1923, the daughter of Roy and Lula (Howell) Corwin. She married Alvin C. Barnhart in Albion in 1941.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Carmi.
Surviving are one son, Milke Barnhart, Florida; two daughters, Kate Hout and her husband, Jerry, Noble; Dea Etta Lohmann, Florida; two brothers, Roy Corwin, Rootstown, Ohio, Loy Corwin, Carmi; five sisters, Edna Willard, Carmi, Pat Janssen, Evansville, Ind., Barbara Lowen, Amarillo, Texas, Bernice Duncan, Browns, Frances Johnson, Carmi; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
