Raymond G. "Jobo” Deihl, 78, of North Spring Street, Everett, died Saturday, June 10, 1989 in Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.
He was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Westchester, Iowa, a son of the late Albert L. and Gertrude (Baker) Deihl:
He was married to the former Lydia S. Riley in Everett, Nov. 25, 1933.
She survives, along with two sons: Raymond J. "Jack” Deihl of Hopewell, married to the former Mary Helen Fleck and Paul A. Deihl of Everett, married to the former Gloria Jean Hammond. Two brothers and one sister also survive: William L. Deihl of York, Roy Deihl of Riddlesburg and Ruth Mayre of Thomasville, Ga. Also surviving are four granddaughters, one grandson and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Deihl was an active member of the Everett Assembly of God.
He retired as a salesman for the Bedford Fulton Tire Co. in 1976 after 28 years of service.
He served on the board of the Hopewell Cemetery Assoc.
Funeral services Wednesday, June 14, at 11 a.m., in the Everett Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Robert Legg officiating.
Burial in the Bethel Brethren Cemetery, Tatesville.
