Services for Edith R Calaman, 96, formerly of 71 E Main St, Plainfield, will be at 2 pm Friday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N Hanover St, Carlisle.
She died Tuesday, March 4, 1997 in the Thornwald Home, Carlisle.
Born Jan 22, 1901 in Saville Township, Perry County, she was a daughter of the late George W and Mary M Fuller Rice and the widow of Joseph W Calaman.
Mrs Calaman was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Carlisle, its ladies' Bible class and United Methodist Women.
Surviving are her son, Edward S of Carlisle; a daughter, Betty C Allen of Carlisle; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Rev William Pipp will officate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pensboro Township.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Building Fund of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2129 Ritner Highway, Carlisle 17013.
