Jessie Madeline Perrier was born 06 May 1914 in Massachusetts to William James Perrier (1883-1953) and Mildred May Irsish (1881-1936). She married Woodrow Wilson "Jack" Cowling on 10 December 1935. Together they lived in Norton, Barberton and Spencer, Ohio. They had no children. Jessie Cowling died on 11 April 1962 in Oberlin, Ohio.
