Deliverance was born in 1662 in Hingham, Massachusetts to Samuel Packard and Elizabeth. On October 29, 1684, not long before her father's death, she married Thomas Washburn. She would have four children with him: Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Patience, and Hepzibah. With that Washburns being a major family in Bridgewater, whom had married into the Packard family before, this increased the linkages between the two families. On July 29, 1708, Deliverance died in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. After her death, her widowed husband, Thomas, would marry Abigail Leonard.
