MARGARET CARNAHAN "Peggy" Passed away July 9, 2010 at a local Jupiter nursing home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, April 23, 1925 and reared in Cherry Hill, NJ. Peggy spent two years in the U.S. Army as a WAC. She worked for 25 years for the State of Florida, retiring from the former Florida Marine Patrol in 1989. She was a member of the Women's Army Corps Veteran Association, American Legion, Charter Member of the Women in Military Service Memorial Foundation; former member of the Jupiter Medical Auxiliary, Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tequesta. Survived by son, Scott (wife, Brenda) of Highlands Ranch, CO; brother, Morgan E. Goodwin, Glenmills, PA; two granddaughters, Lindsay Pimental (Tyler), Highlands Ranch, CO, Lauren Carnahan, Parker, CO and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held, July 22, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South SR7, Lake Worth, FL.
