Patrick Charles Shrader, 27, of Mill Creek, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 5, 2009.

He was born at Elkins on Friday, Oct. 30, 1981.

He was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, who loved hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed playing pool. He attended the schools of Randolph County. Patrick had a big heart, a beautiful smile and touched the hearts of his family. He will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Darewood Shreve; paternal grandparents, Willard and Bonnie Shrader; one aunt, Sandy Salisbury; and one cousin, Billy Shrader.

Patrick is survived by mother and stepfather, Mona Raye and Richard Ervine of Mill Creek; father and stepmother, Stephen and Candy Shrader of Huttonsville; seven brothers, Cameron Shreve and wife, Socha, of Ft. Bragg, N,C,, Tom Shrader of Mill Creek, Steve Shrader and wife, Tanya, of Beverly, Levi Shrader, Jay Shrader and Dillion Shrader, all of Huttonsville, and Brian Rhee of Florida; one stepbrother, John Ervine and wife, Crystal, of Green Bank; one sister, Courtney Shrader of Huttonsville; maternal grandmother, Remonia Shreve; great-grandmother, Ruis Lanham; special cousin, Brandi McCauley and companion, Scott, of Beverly; uncles, Greg Shrader, Kevin Shrader, Ricky Shrader and his favorite uncle, Tim Shreve and wife, Vicki; aunts, Rhonda Rush and husband, Leon, Valinda Gladwell and husband, Jeff, Lisa Fincham and companion, Jerry, Loranda Simmons and husband, Danny, and Kristi Weese and husband, Jeff; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Randolph Funeral Home, 100 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, in Hemlock with Pastor William Lanham and Pastor Bonnie Starkey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hemlock.
