GLADEWATER- Services for Johny Frank "Chief" Blake, 69, of Winona, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, with the Revs. Curry Blake, John Blake and James Etson officiating. Burial will be in Starrville Cemetery. Mr. Blake died March 11, 2011.
Born May 24, 1941, in Nocona, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired police chief and a member of Park Heights Assembly of God Church in Tyler. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Blake; son, Curry Blake; and sisters, Louise Belcher, Willie Mae Henry, Loy Bowman and Floy Ames. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2011, at the funeral home
