Harry B. Fisher, Jr., 83, of Cedar Grove, N.J.,
passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011.
Harry was born in Hazelton, Pa., and lived in East Orange, Orange and the Vailsburg section of Newark, N.J., before moving to Cedar Grove 58 years ago. He was the vice president at Flanders Tool Co. in Flanders, N.J., where he worked for over 45 years. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the Cedar Grove Senior Citizens Club and a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of Upper Montclair, where he served as head of building and grounds.
He was the beloved husband of 51 years to the late Katherine L.Brass Fisher; devoted father of Harry B. Fisher III and his wife,Gale, and Katherine Alice McSeveney and her husband, James; cherished grandfather to four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment is at Crest Haven Memorial Park,Clifton,New Jersey.
