Services for Neva Carmilla Ross, 79, of Sallisaw will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Lee Killer officiating. Interment will be in Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. Ross was born June 17, 1911, in Akins, Sequoyah County, to John P. Denney and Sarah Ellen McMaster Denney. She died Wednesday, June 27, 1990, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. She was a housewife and was of the Protestant faith. She married George Thomas Ross on April 11, 1932, in the Maple community. Survivors include her husband, George, of the home; two daughters, Betty Ellen Hightower and Wanda June McDonald, both of Tulsa; three sons, George Donald Ross and Jimmy Dale Ross, both of Owasso, and Danny Charles Ross of Tulsa; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Oma Hood of ada and Ida Tuck of South San Francisco, Calif.
