This is my 2 great grand uncle . Toney as he was called worked in a brick yard . Toney married his wife in 10 Aug 1899 in the United States . He along with his brother L Peter Peterson & bother in law Alfred Anderson moved to Canada with all there children and family's at that time . From 1903-1907 the men spent much time as possible on the farm fencing , plowing , fire guards & prepairing sod land in the summer months . Toney & brothers dug several wells sixty feet deep with shovels . There house , a barn & chicken coop were built in Feb 1907 . It was said that they had to wrap children's feet in the winter in burlap sacks to keep them from freezing . In the year of 1912 there son Reed Peterson was born peter Peterson's wife aunt Molly Aspinall Peterson was helping out with Toney's family as well . In 1915 a new home was built next to the tracks , it was filled with trees & flowers . In 1946 Toney & Millie Peterson sold there farm & moved to Taber Alberta into an apartment that they rented . They celebrated their golden wedding in 1949 . They raised a family of 8 children . Morris Dwayne Peterson is there only child that was unmarried & had no children of his own .
