Born near Millenium to Billy Terry and Elsie Farmer Terry, she married A. Marnch Futrell by a Justice of the Peace in Emporia VA, they settled 2mi. N of Woodland and farmed, until she bought a restraunt, The Quaker House, which became her lifes work, she retired at 82 and enjoyed 12 more years of life and travel.
They bore two children, Anthony and Jean Ann Futrell.
