BOONEVILLE, KY – 8 November 1988 – Jerry Wilson, 85, of Route 1, Booneville, KY died on November 8, 1988 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lexington, KY after a long illness. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a retired farmer and sawmill operator. He was born in Owsley County on November 2, 1903, the son of Sam Wilson and Lottie Bowling Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Turner Wilson, Booneville, KY; three children, Arnold Wilson, Sam Wilson and Alvena Wilson all of Booneville, KY; a brother, Lawrence Wilson, Booneville, KY; three sisters, Ellen Reynolds, New Port Richey, FL; Ora McIntosh, Connersville, IN; Edna Barker, Tucson, AZ; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cow Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joe Powlas and Rev. Junior Combs officiating. Burial was in the Cow Creek Presbyterian Cemetery. Searcy and Strong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
