Kenneth Edward CREW
Kenneth Edward CREW, 83, of Humeston, formerly of Fairfield, died Thursday July 7, 1994.
The service was conducted Tuesday at Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial was in Humeston Cemetery. A memorial was established to Humeston Christian-Methodist Church.
CREW was born Feb. 9, 1911, in Fairfield, the son of Edward Grant and Etta Myrtle ABRAHAM CREW. He attended school in Fairfield, then farmed with his parents until his mother's death. He stayed with his father and helped raise two younger brothers, later moving to Sewal, where he did farm work. He moved to Humeston and worked at the sale barn for many years. After retiring, he mowed lawns, removed snow and helped put in gardens for people in Humeston.
Surviving are a sister, Lysettia MORRIS of Corydon; a brother, Audubon of Fairfield; nieces and nephews. Four sisters, Charlotte JOHNSON, Clarice CREW, Wanda SEARS, Vivian CLINE; and two brothers, Keith and Vandivere, preceded him in death.
