Margaret F Holub, 74, of 210 West Broadway, a longtime resident of Central City and formerly of Prairieburg, passed away at 8:50 am Thursday Aug 9, 1990 in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids following a lengthy illness. She was born the daughter of Antone and Pauline Holub on April 1, 1916 near Prairieburg. See was a member of St Stephens Catholic Church, Central City. Surviving are a brother, Leonard J Holub of Central City; a sister, Leona Mershon of Anamosa, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Raymond Holub; and a sister, Alice Wolfe. Services were held at 10:30 am Saturday Aug 11, 1990 at St Stepehns Catholic Church, Central City conducted by Rev Marvin Salz. Bearers were Harold Kolda, Kenneth Kolda, Richard Mershon, Eugene Eldred, Stanley Holub and Kevin First. Honorary Bearers were Danny McDonnell and Keith First. Interment was at St Joseph's Cemetery, Prairieburg, Iowa.
