OBIT: RUSHVILLE - Sarah R. "Sally" Dugan, 96, of Rushville died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at Snyder's Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home. Born March 17, 1907, in Woodstock Township, Schuyler County, to John Clarence "J.C." and Della Lawler Ralston, she married Harry Summers Dugan on June 15, 1929, in Rushville. He died March 22, 1979. She also was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers, one in infancy. Surviving are one daughter, Shirley (and Howard) Trone of Rushville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She worked for several Rushville and Beardstown area businesses and individuals for many years. She was a past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge 192 in Beardstown. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Beardstown. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rushville Free Methodist Church. The Revs. Robert Kirkham and Rose Ross will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Worthington Funeral Home. Burial will be in Palm Cemetery, west of Rushville. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois Chapter in Peoria or to the Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice, 331 S. Main St., Virginia, IL 62691.
