Mrs. Juanita Harris
Mrs. Juanita Alexander Harris, 38, of 119 Roselawn Heights, died today at 6:45 a.m. at Martinsville General Hospital.
A native of Chatanooga, Tenn., she was the daughter of Theodore Alexander and the late Mrs. Estelle Eskew Alexander. She was a member of the McCabe Memorial Baptist Church, where she was active in the W.M.U., Training Union and taught the Ladies Adult Class. Mrs. Harris has been in declining health for three years.
She is survived by her husband Lester M. Harris; three sons Barry, Charles and William Harris of the home; her father and step-mother of Route 2; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Draper of Martinsville, Mrs. Grace Elkins of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Dorothy Call of High Point, N.C.; and one brother Charles Alexander of Martinsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at McCabe Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Chevis Horne and the Rev. Philip A. Duckett, with burial in Roselawn Burial Park.
The body is at McKee Funeral Home.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today and Friday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Alexander Harris, 38, were conducted Saturday afternoon in McCabe Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Chevis F. Horne and the Rev. Philip A. Duckett.
Burial followed in Roselawn Park.
Mrs. Harris, the wife of Lester M. Harris of 119 Roselawn Heights, died Thursday in Martinsville General Hospital after a long illness.
Active pallbearers were Bill Smith, H. A. Newton, Jeff and Sam Harris, Elton Collins, Herman Powell, Charles Martin, Ben Gray and Roy Eaton.
Deacons of the church served as honorary pallbearers and flowers were carried by members of Mrs. Harris' Sunday School class, women of the church and friends.
Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, her father, her step-mother, three sisters and one brother.
