Born in Lima on June 20, 1908, she was the daughter of Samuel and Olive Shaffer.
A retired trim shop worker at Superior Coach, Mrs. Sharrits was a member of Central Christian Church and secretary of UAW-CIO for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Don (Tish) Myers of Birmingham, Mich., and Mrs. John (Barbara) Wetzel of 651 S. Dana; four sisters, Ruth McCoy of Lima, Shirley Adams of Lima, Doris Bandrofchak of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Gladys Stettler of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Lowell K. Shaffer of Delphos and Harold Shaffer of Pickney, Mich.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Siferd Westwood Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.
