Mother: Emina Moomaw
Mrs. Nora E. Rarick, 84, wife of Ora E. Rarick, former Selma resident, died today at the Heritage Nursing Home in Shelbyville following several weeks' illness.
Born in Ross County, Ohio, she had lived in Delaware County most of her life until moving to New Palestine two years ago. She was a member of Union Grove Church of the Brethren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Charlotte) Raines, Muncie, and Mrs. Kenneth (Rachel) Lantz, New Palestine; a brother, C.C. Browning, Welton, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, Elton, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Eldon Morehouse officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Eaton.
