Ernest A. Hagan, 66, died early Tuesday morning in St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Bulloch County and was retired from the city of Statesboro and the Statesboro Fire Department. Mr. Hagan was a member of the Golden K Club, Sand Hill Hunting Club, Woodmen of the World and Statesboro First Baptist Church where he was a member of Fellowship Sunday school class.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Hunnicutt Hagan, Statesboro; two daughters, Sandra Radwanick, Virginia Beach, Va., and Karen Hagan, Statesboro; a sister, Mrs. Gracie Carter, Warsaw, N.C.; three brothers, J.W. Hagan, Cecil Hagan and Franklin Hagan, all of Statesboro; and a granddaughter.

The funeral service for Mr. Hagan will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Statesboro First Baptist Church with Dr. William Perry officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Golden K Club, Sand Hill Hunting Club and the Fellowship Sunday school class.
