DIED
August 2, 1841, Katharine Trometer was born at Huntington, Ind., was married to Andrew Robinson, April 18, 1861. To them was born one child who died in 1890. She was married to Mr. Frank H. Edwards, Oct. 12, 1868, and to them six children were born of whom five survive. Frank W., Mrs. Lucy Grate, Albion L., Arthur O. and Grace. Mrs. Edwards had been troubled with asthma since a child and for nearly fifteen years a great sufferer with rheumatism, and for the past nine years entirely helpless. About nine days previous to her death, which occurred on the evening of Dec. 24, 1895, she was taken with a severe attack of asthma, and from which she did not recover. Through all the years of her suffering Mrs. Edwards was patient and forbearing. She was a good woman and the sympathy of the people of this village was always with her.
A kind and loving Father has called her above, to a land where suffering is unknown.
----------------------------
Wife of Frank H. Edwards
Son: Arthur O. Edwards born 9-6-1879 in Hart, died September 1943 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Catherine's first son was from a 1st marriage to Andrew Robinson, probably a Civil War soldier who died in the war.
Although her tombstone says Katherine, other records spell it Catherine. Her obituary was published in 1895 and says she died December 24, 1895 even though her tombstone says 1894.
Katherine's obit states she was born in Huntington but it was Huntingburg where her father moved from Ohio and remained and preached for a year or two.
