SARTELL -- Clarence L. Gorman, 94, Sartell, formerly of Brainerd, died Friday, May 16, 2003, in Sartell.

He was born June 29, 1908, in Cushing to Louis A. and Ella M. (Dennison) Gorman. He married Grace Van Hoever on Nov. 18, 1933. They farmed in rural Cushing before moving to Brainerd in 1948. He was employed by the Brainerd School District as a custodial engineer, retiring in 1970.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Duane C. Gorman, St. Joseph, and Virgil L. Gorman, Hinkley, Calif.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Violet Hancock, Brainerd, and Adeline Klabunde, Chandler, Ariz.

Two brothers, Albert and Roy; and four sisters, Mabel Gorman, Myrtle Olson, Irene Anderson and Ida Loberg, died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with the Rev. Nathan Lundgren officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
