FORMER RESIDENT OF PARKERSBURG DIES IN WAVERLY ON SATURDAY
Mrs. Jane Sarber, formerly a resident of this city, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Janes, at Waverly, from diseases incident to her age. Mrs Sarber resided in Parkersburg until about 10 years ago and a very highly respected and esteemed citizen. She had a sweet and congenial disposition and her death will be a great loss to her many friends here and in Waverly.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist church of Parkersburg during her residence here. Her husband, Stillman Sarber, preceded her to the grave 17 years ago. She is survived by the following children: Homer, Los Angeles Calif; O,M., St. Marys W. Va,; Burt, Clarksburg; Okey, Washington Pa.; W.S. and C.E. Sarber of Parkersburg, and Mrs. John Janes of Waverly. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Ann Moats, Harrisville, and a brother, Monroe Johnson of Waverly.
Funeral services will be in Waverly at 4 p.m. Monday and the remais will be brought to this city for internment in the I.O.O.F. cemetary.
