Wholesale Dealer in Produce Dies in Chicago

Memorial Services for Norwood F. Hart, 64 years old, 211 Frye ave., widely known wholesale dealer in product with offices on South Washington st. for the past 25 years, will be held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Wilton mortuary chapel.Burial will be in Parkview cemetery. Friends may call at the Mortuary after 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Mr. Hart was the owner of the Hart Fruit & Produce Co.

Mr. Hart died of bronchial pneumonia yesterday morning at Englewood hospital in Chicago.

He became ill a week ago while returning from Florida, where he and his wife had been for the past two months.

Born in Peoria

Mr. Hart was the son of Fielding and Margaret Handasyde Hart, and was born in peoria September 8, 1871. He was married to Miss Lenna reuter in Peoria in January of 1892.

He had lived in Peoria all his life. He was first employed by Thomas and Clarke company. He entered the wholesale business 25 years ago and first was located at 107 South Washington st. He later moved to 207 South Washington st., and since November of last year was in business at 205 South Washington st.

Leaves Widow and 3 Children

He is survived by the widow; one daughter; Mrs. C. K. drake of Homewood, Ill.; two sons, Albert T. Hart of Chicago and Harold H. Drake of Peoria; two sisters, Mrs. William Stacey, Peoria and Mrs. A. B. Sinclair, Kansas City, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Hart was a member of templar lodge No. 46, masons, and of Charter Oak camp, Modern Woodmen of America. He was active as a member of the First Universalist Church.
