George F. Wright, a native of Fredonia Twp., died Sunday night at Albion Hospital of Cancer of the stomach after an illness of several months. Mr. Wright was born in Fredonia Twp. April 4 1855 , living there with his brother, Fred Wright, the only surviving member of the family, until the Spring of 1909, when he removed to this city and had since resided in the Brewer house on North Eagle Street.
He was married November 23 1887 to Miss Sophia Lee of Fredonia, who survives him with one son J.D. Wright, a young man 18 yrs of age.
The Funeral occured from the residence in North Eagle street Wednesday afternoon and was largely attended. Interment was made in Oakridge. Rev. Hartley of Trinity Church officiating.
