MRS. E. BEARD DIES.
Mrs. Elisha Beard died last Thursday at her home near Double Head after an illness of only a few hours, though she had been in feeble health for sometime. Mrs. Beard was a good woman, highly esteemed by her neighbors and was about 70 years of age. She was a sister of Mr. J. F. Jordan of Roanoke. The interment was at Bethel Friday afternoon.
