The service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will be in Susquahanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 12:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to York Unit of the American Cancer Society, 100 S. George St., York Pa.
Mr. Aldinger was born in York Township,the son of Fraancis Aldinger, Dallastown and the late Flora (Stump) Aldinger.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in New Guinea and Guam. He had been employed 22 years by Donald L. Love Mason Contractor, Dallastown, and for two years by John Warner Mason Contractor. He was a member of the Red Lion Athletic Club.
Mr. Aldinger also is survived by three children, Clair L. Aldinger, 4219 Caldwell Road, York; Vivian A. Poff, York RD12; and Dalton J. Aldinger, Wrightsville RD1; eight grandchildren and two brothers, Vernon Aldinger, Dallastown and Delmas Aldinger, Brogue RD1.
