Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at the Richardson Chapel, Wayne City, for Mrs. Gladys Clevenger, 93, who died Saturday at Oddfellows Hospital in Mattoon. Rev. Oakley Miller , officiated. "Burial was in Tho mason cemetery.
Mrs. Clevenger was born Feb. 16, 1880, in Wayne county, the daughter of George T. and Mary E. (St aton) Smith.

She was a housewife. She belonged to Sims Rebekah Lodge No. 535 . Reb ckah services were held last night.
She is survived by two sons. George Lancaster of Poinpano Beach, Fla., and C. E. Clevenger of Sims; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Shepard of Rochester, N.Y., and Mrs. Nina Day of Atwood; two bisters, Mrs. Theodore Logan of Blytheville. Ark., and Mrs. Bert Jackson of Seattle. Wash.; 12 grandchildren, 16 gre at-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
