A retired truck driver and a resident of Livingston, he died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at his home. He was 76 and a native of Tickfaw. Visiting at Little River United Pentecostal Church on Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Adriene Spikes. Interment in the church cemetery. He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, Lloyd Jr. and Bernita Johnson, Kenny and Earline Johnson, Brad and Theresa Johnson, Curtis Johnson and Billy Johnson; a daughter, Terri McAlister; stepchildren, Mona and husband Jesse Stafford, Vicky McSwain, Ricky and wife Theresa McSwain, and Michael and wife Ellen McSwain; brother, Lemuel Johnson; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillie Johnson; a daughter, Tammy Johnson Torres; and his wife, Helen Green Johnson. He was a member of Little River United Pentecostal Church.
