ANNAWAN, Ill., June 20. (Special) Albert Lee Sheetz, 45, formerly of Annawan, died Friday of heart trouble at the Edward Hines hospital in Chicago, He had been in ill health for four years.
He was born Feb. 28, 1891, at Keezeltown, Va. His parents were William and Sally Sheetz. Mr. Sheetz came to Mineral with his parents when a child. He was educated in Mineral and lived near Mineral nearly all his life. Mr. Sheetz was a member of the Mineral Advent Christian church. He was a World War veteran. He was engaged in farming with his brother, George, until the last year, when his health failed.
Surviving are three brothers, George of Annawan, William of Blue Island and Homer of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Bosworth of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Trevo Hartman of Milwaukee. His father preceded him in death in 1926 and his mother in 1927. One brother and one sister also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Annawan Community church, with Rev. E. D. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Annawan cemetery. The American Legion post of Annawan will be in charge of the military rites.
