Esther Louise Row was born to William M. Row (1849-1895) and Jahaza Sizemore (1863-1895). Her parents died during a cholera epidemic when Esther was three years old. She was raised by her half-sister Charlotte "Lottie" Row Williams and her husband George Williams in Barboursville, West Virginia.

In 1907 Esther married Sydney Allen Chapman (1888-1945) in Williamson, West Virginia. They had two children: Marie Gladys Chapman (name changed to Turner)(1909-2000) and Sherwood Tunis Chapman (name changed to Turner)(1912-1992). Esther and Sydney divorced about 1914.

Esther's sister Minnie Louise Row Turner (1884-1946) and Minnie's husband, Irvin Preston Turner (1874-1947) adopted Marie and Sherwood.

By 1918, Esther, Minnie, Irvin, Marie, and Sherwood moved to Denver, Colorado. In 1918 Esther married William L. Aseniero (1892 Phillipines-1968 CO). Esther and William had a son, William L. Aseniero in 1924.

According to U.S. law Esther lost her citizenship when she married a Phillipines national. Later she regained her citizenship when the law was changed. She never left the USA.

Genetic diseases: Esther died of diabetes in 1977. Esther's daughter, Marie died of diabetes. Marie's daughter, Sharon and son, Lloyd developed diabetes mellitus type 2. It appears all descendants of Sidney Chapman and Esther Row Chapman are at risk for Diabetes mellitus type 2.
