Funeral services for Decima Edna Faulkner Green, 88, formerly of Matador will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Matador. Interment will be in the East Mound Cemetery in Matador under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. Green had been a resident of Matador since 1928. She married J.C. Jack Green on December 22, 1935.
Decima and her husband Jack moved from Matador to New Deal in 1999 and went in the Floydada Nursing Home around six months ago. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Matador.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmie Green of Shallowater and Tommie of Midland; two daughters, Elwanda Simmons of Shallowater and Cristene Snodgrass of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
