Owner and Interior Designer of LaCarleton's Interiors for over twenty years. Originally from Lubbock Texas, moved to Biloxi with her Husband Carleton E. Allen and two daughters in the 1960s when he retired from the U.S. Air Force. Carleton E. Allen preceded Nadine in death in 1982.
Nadine married E.W. (Ted) Gifford. They resided at 6200 Porteaux Road, Gulf Hills, Ocean Springs, MS. Nadine's daughter Linda deSilvey and her granddaughter Donna deSilvey, as well as E.W. (Ted) Gifford, perished in Hurricane Katrina at her home in Gulf Hills. She is survived by her daughter Marian K. Wooley and son-in-law Raymond E. Wooley of Waldorf, MD; four grandchildren: Kristina Hemstreet of Dongola, IL, Raymond E. Wooley II of Archdale, NC, Jason P. Wooley of Charlotte, NC, and Brad C. Wooley of Woodstock, MD, and five great-grandchildren.
