Death of P. Bittner - Dies Quite Suddenly at his Home on the Green Bay Road - Philip Bittner, the well known blacksmith residing on the Green Bay road in the town of Belgium passed away in death at three o'clock on Tuesday morning. He had been ill with pneumonia only half a day. He attained an age of 67 years. The funeral will take place at St. Mary's church at Lake Church, Wis. at ten o'clock tomorrow morning.

Mr. Bittner was born in Germany and came to this country with his parents when a baby. They settled at Milwaukee, but remained there only a short time. They then moved to Holy Cross, and later to the place whree his death occurred. He was married to Miss Hirn at Holy Cross in 1872. Their union was blessed by eleven children of whom nine survive. The children are as follows: John of North Chicago, Mich. of this city, Frank of Saukville, and Henry at home, Mrs. Antoine, Mrs. Wellenstein, Mrs. Antoine and Mr5s. Pirrung of town Belgium and Mrs. Geo. Schils of this city. He also leaves three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Nic Blong of this city being a sister. 12 grand children also survive.
