CONCORDIA - The funeral for Eugene M. Marcotte, 85, Concordia, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery. Mr. Marcotte died Friday at the Mount Joseph Care Home, Concordia. He was born Nov. 13, 1892, at Clyde, and had farmed in Cloud County for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine, of the care home; four daughters, Mrs. Armaline Giroux, Concordia; Mrs. Lena Craig, Albany, Ore.; Sister Marie Marcotte, Leawood, and Mrs. Laurette Fief, Corvallis, Ore.; a son, Eli, Albany, Ore.; a brother, Ferdinand Marcotte, Concordia; ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, where friends may call.
