Armaline E. Giroux, 85, Salina, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center, Salina.
Mrs. Giroux was born Armaline E. Lambert on June 13, 1912, at Aurora and was a resident of Concordia before moving to Salina in 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ladies Guild and Catholic Daughters of America.
She was preceded in death by seven children and two grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Edward J. of the home; a son, Gerald Lee "Gerry" of Salina; a daughter, Cecilia I. "Rich" Fassbinder of Salina; two sisters, Loretta Fief of Albany, Ore., and Sister Marie Marcotte of Concordia; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, the Rev. John Wolesky officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Peters Cemetery, Aurora. A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Armaline E. Giroux Memorial Fund in care of the family.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, 137 N, Eighth, Salina 67401.
