Mr. Troy Lee BEAVERS, 51, died in a hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, Friday night at ten o'clock following two weeks of critical illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but the body will be brought to Greenville for burial. Mr. BEAVERS was born in Greene County, son of Mrs. Florence B. WILSON and the late Roscoe B. BEAVERS. He has lived in the Vanceboro community until he went to Oak Ridge, Tennessee to live about a year ago. He was a member of Palmetto Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanette WILLIAMS BEAVERS a son, Roland BEAVERS and two daughters, Jeannie and Jesse Lee BEAVERS all of the home; his mother; three brothers; Roscoe BEAVERS, Jr. of Norfolk, Robert M. BEAVERS of Hot Springs, Ark. and Jesse BEAVERS of Fort Stockton, Texas and four sisters; Mrs. Clifton Barr of Chocowinity, Mrs. J.A. CREED of Suffolk, and Mrs. K C. BUTON and Miss Mary Ruth BEAVERS of Vanceboro. Contributed by Annette Ginn Roebuck
