The funeral for Charlotte F. Harrold, 85, of Clinton will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Ed Bacon officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She died at 6:36 p.m. Monday (Aug. 5, 2002) at Crestview Nursing Center, Clinton.

Memorials may be made to Wapella Christian Church, Wapella.

She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Wapella Township, Dewitt County, a daughter of Roy M. and Carrie V. Ledden Harrold.

Survivors include a niece, Carol Harrold, Hastings, Neb.; and three nephews, J.D. (Norma) Harrold, Roy (Connie) Harrold and Scott (Linda) Harrold, all of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Scott and Ross; and one nephew, Charles.

She was a retired school teacher, teaching 40 years in rural schools and the Clinton Elementary School System.

She was active in Wapella Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine, Beta Sigma Phi, Alpha Delta Kappa and the Retired Teachers Association of DeWitt and Logan County.
