T.S. Burnum, 55 prominent Alabama State Highway Department executive, died suddenly Sunday evening at his home in Montgomery.
A former Decatur resident, Mr. Burnum has been connected with the highway department for the past fifteen years and had visited the Decatur office frequently.
The body will arrive in Decatur tonight on the L&N number 4. Funeral services will be held Tesday afternoon at four p.m. at Brown's Chapel with Dr. Jesse Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the City cemetery, Brown directing. The deceased is survived by his widow and two sons.
