Donald Verlan Kirby, 61, passed away Sept. 8, 1992 at his West Valley home.

Born July 21, 1931 in Aberdeen, Idaho to Peter Verlan and Reva Black.

Married Linda Durham June 17, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Navy veteran of Korean conflict, worked for IML and Ringsby Trucking for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, Salt Lake City; children, Brenda Kay and husband, Pat Barry, Aurora, Colo.; Donald Bryan, Westminster, Colo.; John Forrest and wife, Cindy, and Paul Morton, all of West Valley City; seven grandchildren; sisters and brothers, and their spouses, Peggy and Stewart Rowberry, Stone Mountain, Georgia; Blaine and Millie, Aberdeen, Idaho; Beth and Wendall Ransom, Pocatello, Idaho; Janice and Verl Hawes, Hot Springs, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 11, 1992, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) where friends may call one hour prior to services.
