WASHINGTON, IA. --- Isaac Lawson Colthurst, 84, widely known resident of the Ainsworth community, died Sunday evening at his home. His death followed a stroke suffered a week ago.
He was born Sept. 26, 1856, in a log cabin on the farm where he had lived all his life. Burial will be in the historic Camp Ground cemetery, burial ground of early county settlers, near the family home.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. R. G. Pratt of Waterloo and Mrs. L. A. Crane of Medford, Ore., and a son, Roger Colthurst of Ainsworth.
