Willie met and married Fannie Dell Farmer on August 9, 1911 at Silver City, Navarro County Texas. He was a farmer and worked the land with a pair of big mules Pete & Mandy. He also worked at the Cotton Gin at Purdon.
He did enjoy playing dominoes, and took every opportunity to go to the Domino Parlor every chance he got.
Willie and Fannie had three daughters, Edna, Eva and Eloise. He called them his three mules affectionately. He had five grandchildren, 4 girls and 1 boy. Two of the granddaughters was born after his death. He has many g-grands, gg-grands, ggg-grandchildren.
