Mrs. J. M. Nettles, 82 died last night after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Alachua, Fla., daughter of the late Fenton Easterling (Easterlin) and Sally Gibbons Easterling (Easterlin). She was the widow of the late Jessie (Jesse) Martin Nettles.
She had resided in Waycross since 1923.
Mrs. Nettles is survived by four daughters, Mrs. A. M. Crawford, Waycross, Mrs. Ellery Haynes, and Mrs. McAllister Marckres, both of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Olive N. Still, London England; one son J. Frank Nettles, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Grimes, High Springs, Fla. and Mrs. Irene E Seibel, Atlanta, one brother, Fenton F. Easterling (Easterlin), Hialeah, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 5:30 P.M tomorrow at Mincy-Fulford Chapel. Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery.
Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
