Galena, Ill. -- Edmund L. Perleth, 86, of 904 -- 4th St. in Galena died Thursday at Galena-Strauss Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30am Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Galena, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9pm Friday at the Furlong Funeral Chapel in Galena, where the scripture wake service will be at 7:30pm Friday.
Mr. Perleth was manager of the A&P Store in Galena for 40 years before his retirement in 1965.
His wife, the former Lucille Heller, died April 23, 1985.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Larry (Bernice) Taylor and Mrs. Marie Metz, both of Dubuque.
